The vivo X Fold 2 will be unveiled this month. Most likely, the vivo X Flip will join it on stage. The foldable vivo phone with a horizontal hinge has been part of the rumor mill for a few months. Today, the X Flip appeared in a live photo for the first time.

The live image on the left shows the same circular camera module as the render on the right from a few weeks ago. However, the Zeiss logo has moved to the camera island and the flash is now installed horizontally and no longer upright. The second display spans the full width of the vivo X Flip. It takes up more than half of the top front bezel. There is a good chance that vivo will install at least two cameras in the circular module. There is a visible diamond pattern, while the purple color is also among the most popular options on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and the Oppo Find N2 Flip.
Unfortunately, the image is not particularly high-resolution. As such, it’s not possible to say for sure whether the vivo X Flip hinge folds flat or there’s a slight gap. According to the previous reports and benchmarks, the inner display has a 1080p resolution. A Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset sits at the helm in combination with 12 GB of RAM.
