vivo Pad 3 Pro with Dimensity 9300 chip and TWS 4 earbuds are here

The new flagship Android tablet vivo Pad 3 Pro comes with a Dimensity 9300 chipset and a large 13-inch display.

The vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro were just unveiled in China. But they weren’t the only new devices on stage. The vivo Pad 3 Pro, the Chinese company’s new flagship Android tablet, and the vivo TWS 4 earphones are here.

vivo Pad 3 Pro

The vivo Pad 3 Pro features a large 13-inch LCD display with a resolution of 3,096 x 2,064 pixels, an aspect ratio of 3:2 and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The panel supports a peak brightness of up to 900 nits, covering the entire P3 color space and supports HDR10 content. There is an 8 megapixel front camera and a 13 megapixel main camera on the back.

The tablet supports pen input via the vivo Pencil2, and a magnetic keyboard case is also available. The 8-speaker setup supports spatial audio. Additionally, the Pad3 Pro is the first Android tablet to feature MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9300 chipset and is offered with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. There is a custom-made graphite heatsink and a copper cooling matrix to keep the temperature under control. The Pad3 Pro also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.

The software side is covered by OriginOS 4 based on Android 14. There is also vivo’s in-house BlueLM AI model. The latter brings generative AI for image and text creation, as well as Vivo’s Office suite with support for remote access to Windows and Mac computers. You can also use the tablet as an extended screen. There are continuity features to answer calls and transfer files to and from compatible Vivo phones.

The vivo Pad 3 Pro has an 11,500mAh battery that is rated for up to 70 days of standby time and supports 66W fast charging. Color options include gray, blue and purple. The entry-level 8/128GB version starts at CNY 2,999 (€383/$415). 8/256GB costs CNY 3,299 (€422/$457) and the top 16/512GB version is priced at CNY 3,999 (€511/$554). Open sales in China begin on April 3rd.

vivo TWS 4

The vivo TWS 4 earbuds are available in two versions, with the TWS 4 Hi-Fi model offering support for the aptX Lossless audio codec. The standard version still has the adaptive codecs LDAC and aptX.

Both vivo TWS 4 variants offer 12.2 mm speakers, active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 55 dB, special acoustic membranes made of ceramic-tungsten material and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. The battery life is up to 11 hours on a single charge, the case extends this to 45 hours.

The vivo TWS 4 are available in blue and white and cost CNY 399 (€52/$55) for the regular version and CNY 499 (€65/$70) for the Hi-Fi version. The launch in China is also on April 3rd.
