In addition to the vivo X Fold 2 and the X Flip, the Chinese company also introduced the vivo Pad 2. The brand’s latest tablet features a Dimensity 9000 chipset, a 144Hz display and a large 10,000mAh battery.

The vivo Pad 2 is based on a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1,800 x 2,880 pixels and a high refresh rate of 144 Hz. The panel has an aspect ratio of 7:5, which should be useful when dealing with vertical content. There’s also a metal unibody chassis and quad speakers with custom Golden Ear tuning.

The vivo Pad 2 has a fast MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset together with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage under the hood. On the back is a 13-megapixel main camera alongside a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front an 8-megapixel camera snaps selfies. A powerful 10,000 mAh battery with 44 watt fast charging keeps the show going.
The software front is covered by OriginOS 3 based on Android 13, just like on the new foldables. vivo also introduced a new keyboard cover with an integrated trackpad and a second-generation stylus. The stylus attaches to the side of the tablet with magnets. The vivo Pad 2 is available in grey, blue and purple colors. Prices start at 2,499 CNY (€331/$364) for the base 8/128GB configuration. The top model with 12/512 GB costs 3,399 CNY (€450/$495). International prices and availability are not yet known.
