Over 600 apps are already available for the Apple Vision Pro headset. Here are 10 of the best apps for cooking, 3D webcams, and YouTube.
Apple Vision Pro headset

The Apple Vision Pro headset has been launched with its own App Store and last Friday more than 600 Vision Pro-optimized apps were already available for download. We have selected 10 of the best apps for the Vision Pro, both for everyday use and to demonstrate the headset’s capabilities.

  • Spatial Cam (free): Spatial Cam lets you view the camera feed from an iPhone on your Vision Pro. The app connects to the iPhone and you have a high-resolution webcam to keep an eye on children and pets. You simply display the whole thing as a window in your work area.
  • Juno for YouTube ($4.99): There’s no official YouTube app for the Apple Vision Pro yet, although Google has just backpedaled. Until then, Juno is a good alternative. Juno offers a better Vision Pro interface than the Safari web version and quick access controls. However, Juno is not flawless and does not remove YouTube ads.
  • Crouton (free, in-app purchases): Crouton is a recipe management app that lets you save recipes from websites, recipe books, and more in an easy-to-browse interface. There are step-by-step cooking instructions that you can follow while wearing the headset. You can also add timers for different parts of the recipe. The app does say not to cook while wearing the Vision Pro. Still, there are plenty of handy cooking tools if you want to break the rules.
  • Blackbox ($19.99): Blackbox is a puzzle game where you manipulate balls, bubbles, and other objects. The visual and acoustic elements alone are worth the installation. The game is under active development and new puzzles will be added over time.
  • Spatial Symphony (free, $6.99 for Pro): Interact with music in Spatial Symphony. You can shape sounds by moving your hands to adjust pitch, volume, and more.
  • NowPlaying (free, in-app purchases): NowPlaying can be connected to Apple Music to create a visual listening experience. The app offers album covers, song lyrics and background information about the music currently playing.
  • SynthRiders (Apple Arcade): SynthRiders is a rhythm game in which you have to match the color of your hands to the incoming balls. It is similar to Beat Saber and other games of its kind.
  • FloatNotes (free): FloatNotes is a free app that allows you to place small post-its anywhere in your workspace.
  • Shortcut Buttons ($7.99): Shortcut Buttons let you create small buttons, place them anywhere, and launch them with a tap.
  • PGA Tour Vision: Golf fans can view models of select PGA Tour courses, rotate the models and view them in detail. There’s also a leaderboard, videos to watch, shot tracking and more.

You can find even more Apple Vision Pro apps in our Vision Pro app guide. If you already have a favorite app for the Vision Pro that you would definitely need – let us know in the comments!
