Tecno launched the Phantom V Fold earlier this year, providing exciting competition for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 outside of China. Now the company is working on a competitor for the Galaxy Z Flip5 and the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. The phone will be called Tecno Phantom V Flip and the Google Play Console has just revealed the main specifications. These include the RAM, the chipset and the display resolution.
Accordingly, the Tecno Phantom V Flip has a display resolution of 1080p and a pixel density of 480 ppi. If you combine these two values, you get a diagonal of about 6.9 inches when the display is open. The chipset is listed as MediaTek MT6893Z/CZA. This is probably the Dimensity 1300, a 6 Nm processor with a 3.0 GHz prime core. 8 GB RAM are also on board, AD11 is the model code and Android 13 takes over the operating system part.
All of these specs line up pretty well with the rumors and leaks so far. The question is, however, which way Tecno will go in terms of the cover display. With other manufacturers, the outer screens have become larger and larger in recent months, but for the Tecno Phantom V Flip current rumors still point to 1.39 inches. The OLED panel sits in the large camera ring, which also houses a 64-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera. The battery capacity should be 3,900 mAh and the charging rate should reach up to 45 watts.
