Sony announced just two days ago that the Xperia 5 V will be unveiled on September 1st. Otherwise, the Japanese have not revealed much about the functions and features of the cell phone. A Sony smartphone with the model code XQ-DE54 has now appeared in a Geekbench test. It should be the Sony Xperia 5 V, which should therefore be about to be launched.

The Sony Xperia 5 V showed up in the Geekbench test with the model code XQ-DE54 and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. You can also find Android 13 as the operating system and 8 GB RAM as main memory in the scorecard. There could be other RAM options, though. The 5 V with 16 GB of RAM also appeared in another Geekbench test back in February.
The XQ-DE54 model scored 2,004 and 5,059 respectively in Geekbench’s single and multi-core tests, which is in line with the scores of some other phones with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
In the trailers so far, Sony has, as usual, focused on the camera functions. According to this, the Xperia 5 V will deliver excellent images both day and night, which is what most manufacturers claim about their smartphones. The camera setup consists of a main camera and an ultra wide camera, according to a leaked promotional video.
