Samsung One UI 5.1 debuted on the Galaxy S23-series smartphones unveiled earlier this month. Today, the Koreans officially announced the global launch of its latest Android skin for older Samsung smartphones.




The smartphones eligible for the One UI 5.1 upgrade are the Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy S20 FE 4G und das Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G. Also included in the list are the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and the Galaxy Z Flip3.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra gets One UI 5.1
There are already reports of success from several regions and the update has already arrived on our own Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. The new firmware is 1974.96 MB in size, so you may need a WiFi connection for the download. In any case, the security patch from February 2023 is also on board and the version numbers are S908BXXU3CWAI and S908BOXM3CWAI. Here is the full changelog:







One UI 5.1 includes several new features including Expert RAW camera mode and improved Photo Remastering. In addition, Multi Control and a new dynamic weather widget are on board. Also, Samsung has expanded modes and routines to allow for custom wallpaper, ringtone, touch sensitivity, and fonts.
That being said, One UI 5.1 includes an overhauled Smart Suggestions widget. However, the new widget only affects Spotify – based on your preferences, the widget will suggest Spotify tracks and playlists.
