Samsung launches One UI 6 beta for Galaxy S23 series

Samsung has announced the official launch of the One UI 6 beta program. The first models to get the update are the Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The firmware update based on Android 14 is already available in the US, Germany and South Korea. If you live in one of these countries and are interested in the new beta, you can register via the Samsung Members app.

Samsung has already shared some screenshots of the One UI 6 beta’s new design. On the one hand you can see the new quick settings interface and on the other hand a new camera widget. The widget lets you choose where to save photos before you take them. The press release also mentions the option to assign custom wallpapers to different modes and routines.

The full list of Samsung smartphones and tablets eligible for One UI 6 once development is complete can be found here. You can register for the beta under this link. It first leads to the Samsung Members app if you haven’t installed it yet.
