Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Tab S9 on July 26th. That’s the good news. The bad news is that almost all previous price leaks assume that the Galaxy Z Fold5 will be more expensive, just like the Z Flip5 and the Tab S9. The same applies today: the price for the 256 GB version is said to be 1,999 euros ($2,235) in Greece. Taking into account the higher VAT in the Mediterranean country, the price in the rest of Europe should be 1,899 euros.

However, that’s still 100 euros more than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4. The predecessor launched last August at a price of 1,799 euros. The same goes for the 1 TB version, which is said to cost €2,299 in Greece and around €2,199 in the rest of Europe.

A second leak has revealed the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 without mentioning a 128GB model. Either this detail hasn’t leaked out, or Samsung is increasing the base storage to 256GB. Expect a modest price increase from €30 to €1,200 for the 256GB model, while the 512GB model will be €50 more expensive.

This is far better news than the last leak, which suggested a price of €1,300 for the 128 GB model. The Galaxy Z Flip5 will be launched in four colors: Graphite, Cream, Lavender and Water Green. There may be a few more later, as Samsung typically reserves a few exclusive shades for samsung.com and the Bespoke program.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9

The Unpacked event will also be the stage for the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series. The most powerful Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is expected to start at €1,399 in Greece. Accordingly, there is also a price increase here – the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra was unveiled in February 2022 for €1,150. The entry-level model, on the other hand, is said to be €929 according to an earlier leak.

The Samsung tablet is said to be equipped with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. It retains its 14.6-inch diagonal with a resolution of 2960 x 1848 pixels and its thin 5.5mm profile. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset sits at the helm and Android 13 with the latest One UI interface is also on board.

We also expect a large battery that charges with 45 watts, which is typical for Samsung. The cameras on the front and back will probably also get an update. And as you can see in the picture above left, there will probably also be some kind of protection against water.
