Samsung introduced the Galaxy S23 series earlier this month, which consists of the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The Plus version has two storage options, the other two have three. According to a new report from SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 can also be configured in three different versions.

According to this, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 comes in storage variants with 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB to the market. The Galaxy Z Flip5 stacks a little lower with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB options. Also, the 128GB model only has UFS 3.1 storage under the hood instead of the faster UFS 4.0 standard. If that sounds familiar, last year’s Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 (review) and Galaxy Z Flip4 (review) offered exactly the same storage options.

However, the official unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 is still months away. Therefore, the two foldable smartphones have so far primarily been found in the rumor mill. The Galaxy Z Fold5 is said to come with a new hinge design to hide the display crease. An S Pen slot, on the other hand, should not be on board. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip5 is said to have a new cover display. The panel should be even larger than the 3.26-inch outer display of the Oppo Find N2 Flip.

More details about the new Samsung smartphones are likely to emerge in the coming weeks.
