Samsung has been a pioneer among foldable smartphones since the days of the first Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold. In the meantime, however, the competition in the form of the Oppo Find N Flip and the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra has caught up. On the one hand, the foldables offer larger cover displays than the current Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4. On the other hand, they can be folded up completely. Both are set to change with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5.
Samsung’s Indian subsidiary released another teaser on Twitter just before the new Flip5 will be officially unveiled at an Unpacked event on July 26th. The main message of the teaser is relatively clear – the upcoming Samsung foldable folds flat. This means that you can no longer see a gap when it is closed.
That being said, the teaser is all about a cryptic symbol created by folding multiple Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5s together at different angles. It’s not the only such teaser on Samsung India’s Twitter account. Instead, there are a few more different symbols to suggest meanings for.
The prices and pre-order deals for the new flip have already appeared in leaks. However, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 will not be the only device making its debut at the Unpacked event. The Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Watch6 series and Galaxy Tab S9 tablets will also make their way onto the stage.
