The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 is now popping up in the rumor mill almost every day. Today’s latest news brings us the first live image of the Samsung foldable when folded. The Flip can be seen tucked into a protective case, which is not uncommon for new phones about to be released. Also, you can see that the rumors about the design and shape of the cover display are apparently true.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 is equipped with a foldable cover display. The panel takes up most of the upper half of the smartphone. According to previous rumors, it will be a 3.4-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 720 x 748 pixels. The new display should offer enough space for apps like Google Maps and YouTube, which should offer the full range of functions without having to open the main display.

Apart from the large cover screen, you can also see the two main cameras. These should be the same wide and ultra-wide cameras with 12 megapixels as on the Galaxy Z Flip4. Samsung also installs an LED flash next to the lenses.

The volume buttons and power button are also visible, with the latter probably also acting as a fingerprint sensor. According to the latest leak, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 should cost 1,299 euros in Europe for the entry-level version with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage.
