Over a month ago, a media report revealed the storage options of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 are the same as their predecessors. Thanks to the CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, Ross Young, the color options for the two Samsung smartphones are now known.

According to Young, the Galaxy Z Flip5 will be launched in beige, grey, light green and light pink colors. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, on the other hand, is available in beige, black and light blue tones. Young also said that Samsung will certainly be giving these colors “some good, eye-catching names when they come out, along with some lower volume bespoke colors”. The latter are likely to be some exclusive options that are only available directly from Samsung. “Bespoke” refers to the Bespoke Editions, where Samsung offers more customization options.

Even so, the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 is still months away. Although there is no official information from Samsung about its foldables for 2023 yet, rumor has it that the Z Flip5 will get a larger outer display. The Z Fold5, on the other hand, is said to use a teardrop-shaped hinge. Samsung wants to reduce the gap between the two halves of the display when closed. Also, both smartphones have recently been spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy chipsets. The same processor also powers the flagship Samsung Galaxy S23 series.
Additionally, Technizo Concept has collaborated with YouTuber Super Roader to create renderings of the Galaxy Z Flip5 with a larger external display. You can see the images in the video above. SamMobile has also spoken out about the renderings. The editors, citing their own sources, confirmed that this concept was “spot on”.
