According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 will be released in three versions and will run faster and longer thanks to a new processor.

According to a new rumor, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch7 will come in no less than three versions. The wearables could be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Ring, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and the Z Flip6 at Samsung’s Unpacked event in early to mid-July. The Watch7 will reportedly be available in Classic and Pro versions as well as an unspecified third variant. Of course, Apple’s top model comes to mind – a counterpart to the Apple Watch Ultra 2.

If this rumor about the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 turns out to be true, it would be a first – we never had three different versions of Samsungs latest smartwatch. In recent years there have only ever been two variants – a base model together with a Galaxy Watch Classic or Watch Pro.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch7 series will most likely run on Samsung’s Exynos W940 platform. The chipset is reportedly 50% more power efficient than the Exynos W930 in the Galaxy Watch6 series. Of course, that doesn’t mean that the battery life is 50% longer, but the endurance should still be significantly better.

The W940 could also be Samsung’s first chip to be manufactured using a 3nm process, which could also be the reason for the higher efficiency. If this is true, you can also expect a performance increase of around 30%.
