The rotating bezel was a unique feature for Samsung smartwatches, but the company decided to skip it on the Galaxy Watch5 series. According to a Korean tipster, the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Pro will see a change and the rotating bezel make a comeback.

However, only the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Pro is said to get this feature. The standard model should stick with a digital bezel. There’s also good news for those who thought the Galaxy Watch5 Pro was too big (it only came in 45.4mm size). The Watch6 Pro will be available in two sizes. What these sizes might be is not yet known. The Galaxy Watch4 Classic was available in 46mm and 42mm sizes. The former had a 1.4-inch display, just like the Watch5 Pro, while the latter had a 1.2-inch screen. The two versions of the Watch6 Pro should have identical panels.
But there should be other upgrades as well. For example, Safety Korea recently posted the battery of the small 40mm Galaxy Watch6 with a capacity of 300 mAh. That would be a 5% upgrade over the 40mm Watch5’s 284mAh battery. The Watch5 Pro had the largest battery of any Samsung watch to date at 590 mAh. Perhaps the new Pro can top this capacity again.
The new Samsung Galaxy Watch generation will most likely be launched in August together with the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5. Luckily, Samsung products are regular guests in the rumor mill, so the Galaxy Watch6 Pro should also appear in the next leak soon.
