Samsung should unveil the Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra at its Unpacked event in Paris in July. The Galaxy Watch Ultra’s name was recently confirmed by a certification after it was referred to as the Galaxy Watch X for a very short time. Today, a new leak brings us some specs of the two upcoming Samsung smartwatches. The former will be offered in two sizes, 40mm and 44mm, while the latter will only be launched in 47mm. Sounds suspiciously like the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch7 comes in two color variants: green and “cream”. The case will be made of Armor Aluminum 2, along with a sapphire crystal display, like high-end mechanical watches. The Watch7 has protection against water ingress up to 50 meters and is IP68 and MIL-STD-810H certified. The 40mm model has a 300mAh battery, while the 44mm model has a 425mAh cell. Both are identical to what we saw on the Galaxy Watch6 last year.

The chipset on the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch7 relies on a modern 3nm process, compared to 5nm on the Watch6 series. Samsung is also doubling the storage to 32GB, while the peak brightness on the Watch7 reaches a fairly bright 2,000 nits.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra comes with a titanium case in three colors – gray, beige, and silver. The smartwatch is water resistant up to 100 meters and also has IP68 and MIL-STD-810H standards. The battery capacity remains unchanged from the 2022 Galaxy Watch5 Pro at 590mAh. The brightness reaches extreme levels at 3,000 nits, and Samsung apparently only offers the Galaxy Watch Ultra with LTE connectivity.

Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is being given away in Belgium

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE has also been a regular guest in the rumor mill in recent days. The official launch could therefore possibly come even sooner than the originally expected announcement in July together with the Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra.

Now Samsung itself has practically confirmed the existence of the Watch FE again by posting a promotion on its official website in Belgium. If you buy a Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ or S24 Ultra with an Orange or VOO contract by June 30th, Samsung will give you a free Galaxy Watch FE.

You first buy the smartphone on or before June 30th in a participating store, then register it on Samsung’s website by August 30th and get the free watch. In addition to itself, Samsung offline stores, Orange and VOO as well as Carrefour branches are also participating.
