The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will be Samsung’s top tablet for 2023. Rumor has it that it will compete with the Apple iPad Pro in terms of features and maybe even price. A new FCC certification now suggests that the Samsung tablet is almost ready for release. Unfortunately, FCC certification doesn’t reveal much beyond that. In the last few months, however, there have already been a number of leaks and rumors.
Accordingly, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra should have a 14.6-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The battery allegedly has a capacity of 11,200 mAh and, like the previous Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, charges with 45 watts. The drive, on the other hand, is, as usual, the currently fastest available Android chipset, in this case the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 from Qualcomm. The tablet will also be dust and water resistant to IP68 and there are already several meaningful renderings.
What is also missing is a concrete, officially confirmed start date. It’s rumored to be sometime in the second half of this year, so possibly July or August. The next official event is Samsung Unpacked on July 26th, which will showcase the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5.
