Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, S9+ and S9 Ultra to start at €929

Samsung’s next Unpacked event is scheduled for July 26th. The Korean group is expected to introduce the Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5 and the Watch6 at the event. And the new Galaxy Tab S9 series, which should consist of the Tab S9, Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra. Now the potential prices of the tablets have come to light.

According to the new leak, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 with 8/128 GB will cost 929 euros (1,019 us-dollars) and with 12/256 GB 1,049 euros (1,151 us-dollars), based on the WLAN models. The Tab S9+ with 12/256 GB and WLAN costs 1,149 euros (1,260 us-dollars), while the Tab S9 Ultra costs 1,369 euros (1,502 us-dollars) in the same configuration. Of course, these prices do not claim to be complete, as there will also be 5G versions of the tablets. In addition, due to the different VAT rates within the EU, prices will probably still differ slightly between markets.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series: specifications

The technical data of the Samsung tablets have been hotly debated in the rumor mill for months. Accordingly, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra gets a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a WQXGA+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. There is also up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage and a 11,200 mAh battery with 45W fast charging. The size of the body is 326.4 x 208.6 x 5.5mm. The camera setup should include two 12-megapixel sensors on the front and a combination of 8+13-megapixel cameras on the back.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ has a 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X WQXGA+ display as well as up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The battery has a capacity of 10,090 mAh and the case measures 285.4 x 185.4 x 5.7 mm. There’s a single 12-megapixel selfie camera and the same 13+8-megapixel setup on the back.

Finally, the base Tab S9 should have an 11-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X WQXGA display. Memory includes up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The 8,400 mAh battery sits in a 254.8 x 165.8 x 5.9 mm body. There’s also a 12-megapixel selfie camera and a 13-megapixel main camera.

All three tablets are expected to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipsets and optical fingerprint sensors. Four speakers and S Pen support are inherited from the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra. On the other hand, protection against dust and water according to IP68 is probably added.
