Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE: Geekbench reveals chipset

Samsung introduced the Galaxy Tab S7 FE last May. The Galaxy Tab S8 FE was actually expected at a similar time this year. Instead, Samsung only launched the regular S8, the S8+ and the S8 Ultra. The good news, however, is that the Galaxy Tab S8 FE is obviously still on Samsung’s release schedule – it just appeared on Geekbench with the most important specifications.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE with the model code SM-X506B is powered by a MediaTek MT8791V/TZA chipset, also known as the Kompanio 900T. The tablet passed the benchmark test with Android 13 and 4 GB of RAM. But there will be other storage options that Samsung has yet to confirm.

According to GalaxyClub, the SM-X506B is the 5G model of the Samsung tablet. There is another version with the model name SM-X500, which could be the Wi-Fi only variant. It is not yet known when Samsung will officially launch the Galaxy Tab S8 FE. We will keep you up to date.
