The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 is the latest officially available Android tablet from Samsung. The device was released without much fanfare on Samsung Guatemala’s official website and Amazon UAE. The Tab A9+ is also mentioned in some press materials, but Samsung has not yet revealed the full technical data and prices.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 has an 8.7-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 800 x 1,340 pixels. A listing on the Google Play Console already confirmed that the tablet will have a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage at the helm. There is also a microSD card slot. According to Amazon UAE, variants with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage are also available.

The Galaxy Tab A9+ should come with an 11-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1,200 x 1,920 pixels. The drive is provided by a Snapdragon 695 chipset with 4/8 GB of RAM, up to 128 GB of storage and optional 5G support. Both new Samsung tablets start Android 13, most likely with Samsung’s One UI 5.1 interface. Unfortunately, Samsung has also remained silent about the cameras and battery capacities of the two new tablets.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 with LTE costs AED 699 (€180/$190) on Amazon UAE. At Samsung Guatemala you pay a similar amount at 1,499 GTQ (€181/$191). More pricing and availability details for other regions should emerge in the coming days.
