The next Samsung flagship smartphone is expected to officially launch in January 2024. Just yesterday, official-looking images of all three S24 models appeared online. In addition, live images and CAD renderings already provided various information about the design. Thanks to a new certification from the FCC, we now also know what the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra S-Pen will look like.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra S-Pen has been separately certified by the FCC, which is another building block and indication of the smartphone’s impending market launch. The pen has BLE connectivity and is visually similar to the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s S-Pen. The FCC documents contain a model in gray or graphite, but there are likely to be other color options in the respective color of the cell phone. These exact color options were part of yesterday’s big leak.
According to the FCC, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra S-Pen has the model code EJ-PS928 and a frequency range of 2,402 – 2,480 MHz. The pen is 104.64 mm long, but weight data is missing from the certification. It is also still unclear whether there will be an IP rating for protection against water and dust.
According to previous rumors, Samsung plans to unveil the Galaxy S24 series in January 2024. Therefore, the leaks and reports are likely to gain momentum in the coming weeks.
