According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be unveiled in January 2024 and will use batteries from four manufacturers.

Last month, we learned that Samsung had collaborated with three battery suppliers on the Galaxy S24 series. At least with the Galaxy S24+. In addition to Samsung SDI Vietnam, these are Ningde Amperex Technology Limited and ELENTEC India. Now a fourth name has emerged – Navitasys India.

According to Korean certification agency Safety Korea, Navitasys India will supply batteries with model code EB-BS928ABY to Samsung. Exactly these batteries will power the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The S24 and S24+ receive batteries with the model name EB-BS922ABY and EB-BS926ABY respectively. These are missing in the listing. So we have to wait and see whether Navitasys India will only supply batteries for the S24 Ultra or for the other two Samsung smartphones as well.

We also have to wait and see whether Samsung’s Indian battery suppliers will only supply cells for the S24 models assembled at Samsung’s Indian factory. This is currently the largest operating cell phone factory in the world, but Samsung could also use batteries for other countries.

According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be unveiled in January 2024. The leaks of the last few weeks alone have already revealed various display specs, Geekbench tests and One UI 6.1 insights. Therefore, the next leaks shouldn’t be long in coming.
