The Samsung Galaxy S23 is just around the corner and as the release date gets closer, more rumors are surfacing. The latest comes from a reliable source as far as Samsung tech goes.
In a recent tweet, tipster Ice Universe suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will add support for 8K video recording at 30 frames per second. We have already seen many other smartphones recording 30fps videos at 4320p resolution. That would be a first for Samsung, though. Hopefully there is plenty of storage space as 8K videos take up a lot of memory.
The difference between 30 and 24 fps doesn’t seem big on paper. But you can definitely see the higher quality and already on a mobile phone display. Also, the tipster only mentions “S23”, meaning the entire series will get the upgrade. This is good news, especially for the base model, as it also gets real flagship features.
