Around a few months ago, SamMobile reported that Samsung would launch the Galaxy S23 FE in the fourth quarter of 2023. Now the portal has received new information. Accordingly, the new Fan Edition will be launched in the third quarter of 2023, i.e. between July and September 2023. However, initially only in a few markets, to be followed by a broader release in Q4 2023 and Q1 2024.

SamMobile also reconfirmed AMD’s Exynos 2200 chipset and Xclipse 920 GPU. Both are well-known components from the Galaxy S22 series. However, unlike the Galaxy S21 FE, which had Snapdragon or Exynos chips under the hood depending on the market, the Galaxy S23 FE has Exynos 2200 SoCs in all regions. Furthermore, a 50 megapixel main camera and a 4,500 mAh battery with 25 watt charging are also haunting the rumor mill. The RAM of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE should be 6 or 8 GB. Memory options include 128 or 256 GB.

Unfortunately, Samsung itself has not yet commented on a potential Galaxy S23 FE. However, there have been rumors for a long time that the smartphone will be launched before the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5. Accordingly, the official launch will take place in the last week of July at an event in Seoul, South Korea. The battery of the Galaxy S23 FE was also recently certified. The third quarter of 2023 starts in three weeks. Therefore, the first selected markets could soon celebrate the arrival of the next Fan Edition.
