We already know that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is just around the corner. Last we heard, Samsung was preparing for a September launch. And a Bluetooth SIG certification of the next Fan Edition has also already appeared online. Now the smartphone has been certified by the TENAA authority, with several photos and additional technical details coming to light. As expected, the phone looks almost exactly like the regular Galaxy S23 and S23+.

TENAA specifies the dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE as 158.0 x 76.5 x 8.2 mm and the weight as 210 grams. This is quite compact, as we already expected with the leaked display diagonal of 6.4 inches. The panel will have a Full HD+ resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels, resulting in Samsung’s popular 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The TENAA document also reveals that the display supports 16 million colors or 8-bit color depth. From previous leaks, we know that the display also has a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and has an under-display fingerprint sensor.
According to rumors, the Galaxy S23 FE will be powered by either a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset or an Exynos 2200, depending on the market. The TENAA device appears to use the Snapdragon chip with an octa-core CPU and a peak frequency of 2.99GHz. It comes with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of onboard storage, according to the document.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will have a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens (probably 3x) and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. On the front, a 10 megapixel front camera takes selfies. The Samsung phone’s battery has a capacity of 4,370 mAh and most likely charges at a slow 25 watts. The operating system is likely to be Android 13 with Samsung’s One UI 5.1 interface.
