Samsung Galaxy S23 FE gets 50 MP camera

There were rumors last month that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE could come with a 50-megapixel main camera. That would be a significant upgrade over the Galaxy S21 FE’s 12-megapixel camera (Samsung didn’t launch the S22 FE). GalaxyClub confirmed this report today. Citing a “reliable source,” the website also assumes that the Galaxy S23 FE will have a 50-megapixel main camera.

Also, according to the tip, it could be the same 50-megapixel camera that Samsung uses in the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S23. The other cameras on the back of the Galaxy S23 FE are not yet known. The same goes for the question of whether there will be changes to the selfie camera. The Galaxy S21 FE has a 32 megapixel selfie camera. The front cameras of the S22 and S23 have a resolution of 10 and 12 megapixels respectively.

The Galaxy S23 FE should have an Exynos 2200 chipset and 6 or 8GB of RAM under the hood. The memory is 128 or 256 GB. The charging speed of the 4,500 mAh battery should be 25 watts, which is typical for Samsung. According to the source, Samsung will unveil the S23 FE several months after the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5. The foldables will come at the end of July, so a date in late 2023 or early 2024 would be likely.
