Samsung introduced the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra in February. A family member is still missing and is expected to join in September – the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. While Samsung has yet to officially confirm the launch date of the new Fan Edition, the smartphone was certified by the Bluetooth SIG today. And that brings it one step closer to market launch.

There are six Galaxy S23 FE variants registered with the Bluetooth SIG. The model codes are SM-S711B, SM-S711B_DS, SM-S7110, SM-S711U1, SM-S711W and SM-S711U. The entries of these versions indicate that the Samsung Galaxy phones will have Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, but nothing else is revealed.
Leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE already showed that the smartphone will resemble the Galaxy A54. Also, the new Fan Edition was spotted on Geekbench with an Exynos 2200 chip. However, the US variant should get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor instead.
That being said, there are already rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will have a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The 4,500 mAh battery should charge with a slow 25 watts via cable. And we also get 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. The camera setup includes four lenses. In addition to a 50 megapixel main camera with OIS, there is also an 8 megapixel ultra wide, a 12 megapixel telephoto and a 10 megapixel selfie camera.
