Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra Enterprise Edition in Australia. The hardware is exactly the same as the regular S23 models. On the software side, however, additional enterprise tools are integrated. Unlike last year, the Plus model isn’t available as an Enterprise Edition this time.

Business-grade features include a 1-year subscription to the Samsung Knox Suite. This has built-in protection against malware, hacking, and other cyber security threats. Also, it enables a company’s IT department to maintain and manage the Samsung phones remotely.
Also, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Enterprise Edition comes with pre-installed Microsoft and Google cloud productivity tools. However, editing Microsoft Office documents still requires a license. The two Enterprise Editions should be available for at least two years after launch. Critical os updates and security patches come for up to five years.
Nothing is known about the prices yet. However, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Enterprise Edition is likely to be purchased primarily through large orders from companies. Each company will probably negotiate its own deal. “Businesses need devices that are not only powerful and secure but also easy to use and manage” said Garry McGregor, Vice President of Samsung Australia’s Mobile Experience Division.
