Samsung has rolled out the next round of One UI 6 updates based on Android 14. The company released the new software for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy A52s, Galaxy A33 as well as the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. Definitely a pretty productive day at work for the Koreans.
The update for the Galaxy S21 FE is currently running in the USA for the Verizon version of the Samsung smartphone. However, devices without a provider lock will soon follow, just like Galaxy S21 FE smartphones in other countries and territories. Anyone who bought an S21 FE through Verizon will receive the update with build number G990USQU9FWK5 or G990U2SQU7FWK5. Both packages also include the November 2023 security patch.
The Samsung Galaxy A52s is currently receiving the update in Bulgaria, Germany and the Netherlands. The new firmware is 2.29 GB in size and arrives as an over-the-air download with build number A528BXXU5FWK4. The security patch from November 2023 is also on board. Other European countries are expected to follow in the next few days.
Next up is the Samsung Galaxy A33. The update for this model is currently rolling out in several European countries with build number A336BXXU7DWK6 and the November security patch. The download size is 2.3 GB. Finally, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ also receive One UI 6 with Android 14 in Europe. The build numbers are X516BXXU1BWK9 and X616BXXU1BWK9 for the Galaxy Tab FE and Tab FE+ respectively. The November security update is also included.
If you haven’t received the new firmware for your Samsung tablet or smartphone yet, you can search for it manually as usual. To do this, simply go to the settings and start the manual search under software update.
