When a new Samsung smartphone is launched, the chances that the launch will go unnoticed are practically nil. This is also the case with the new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 2023, which has just launched in India. Apparently there wasn’t even a press release for the premiere, let alone an official event. The Snapdragon 888 cell phone has already been spotted in the first local offline shops.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was first launched in January 2022, with global models using Snapdragon 888 processors even then. In India, however, Samsung introduced an Exynos 2100 model instead. At the beginning of last week, the company already announced that the launch of the new version in India is imminent. The start of offline sales actually took place silently.
Galaxy S21 FE 2023 in four colors
However, it remains to be seen how successful the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 2023 will be. The starting price is INR 49,999 (€552/$605) for four color options of Olive, Graphite, Lavender and Navy Blue. For comparison, the Exynos model costs INR 37,999 (€420/$460) in India. And while the SD 888 is more powerful, it doesn’t justify that much of a price difference in our perspective.
However, there are some launch offers, such as a cashback promotion for HDFC credit cards, EMI transactions and bank EMI for up to nine months. There is also a free EMI option of up to 15 months through Samsung Finance+, as well as INR 5,000 worth of upgrade options.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 2023 is based on a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. In addition to 8 GB of RAM, there is also 256 GB of storage on board. There’s a 12+12+8-megapixel camera setup on the back, a 32-megapixel selfie camera, and a 4,500 mAh battery with 25-watt charging support. At launch, Android 13 runs with One UI 5.1.
