Android 13 based One UI 5 update will be the last Android version upgrade for the Galaxy A51. More than three years have passed since its launch in 2019 with Android 10. And the Galaxy A51 was eligible for three Android OS upgrades.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2
The international Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 had already received the Android 13 update with One UI 5 two months ago. Last month it was the turn of American models and now it’s the turn of the SIM-locked Galaxy Z Fold2 phones in the US. The new firmware is currently reaching T-Mobile and Sprint devices in the US. However, Samsung is likely to expand the rollout to devices from other mobile service providers soon.
If you own a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 locked by T-Mobile or Sprint, you get One UI 5 with firmware version F916USQU2IVK5. All the new One UI 5 features are on board, as is the November 2022 Android security patch.
Anyone who has not yet received the update for their Samsung smartphone can, as usual, also search for it manually. To do this, simply go to the Settings menu and start the manual search under Software update.
