Samsung’s current One UI 5.1 interface based on Android 13 made its debut on Samsung’s new flagship Galaxy S23 series earlier this month. Since then, the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A33 have all received the update. Now it’s the turn of the first really cheap model: Samsung is currently distributing One UI 5.1 for the Galaxy M53 in the Ukraine and Russia. However, the rollout is expected to be extended to other regions soon.

The One UI 5.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy M53 comes with firmware version M536BXXU2CWB3. The latest Android security patch from February 2023 is also on board.

In addition, Samsung has also started a new rollout in the USA. In the States, the Koreans are currently distributing One UI 5.1 for the Galaxy Z Flip3 and the Galaxy S21 series with a carrier lock. Galaxy Z Flip3 phones with Xfinity Mobile contracts will get firmware version F711USQU3FWB1, while the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra on the same network will get the update with firmware version G99xUSQU5EWAI. Here, too, the updates should soon reach other network operators.

For these models, too, the One UI 5.1 update increases the Android security patch level to February 2023. Anyone who has not yet received One UI 5.1 on one of the Samsung smartphones mentioned can, as usual, also search for it manually. To do this, simply start the manual search in the Settings menu under Software update.
