The Samsung Galaxy M04, which has been buzzing around the rumor mill for months, will be launched in India on December 9th at 12:00 noon local time. The tip comes from Amazon.in, who created a promo page for the Galaxy M04 with a “Notify Me” button for the launch of the smartphone in India.
The promo page also reveals the design, key specs and color options of the Samsung Galaxy M04. The smartphone has a waterdrop notch display and two cameras on the back. It is offered in black and green colors with 128GB of internal storage.
Amazon does not disclose the RAM size of the Galaxy M04. According to the pictures, the Galaxy M04 has the RAM Plus function with up to 8 GB of total RAM. So the actual RAM is 6 GB or less and the smartphone’s internal memory is added as virtual RAM. The Galaxy M04 will receive operating system updates for two years. However, there is still no official confirmation as to whether Samsungs installs Android 12 or already Android 13 at the start. However, both a Geekbench test and the Google Play Console indicated Android 12.
Also, a Helio G35 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM made an appearance on both platforms. The 3GB RAM option might depend on the market though. Prices in India start from 8.XXX INR, which is somewhere between 8,000 INR ($97) and 8,999 INR ($109). We will find out the actual price, all technical data and the availability of the Samsung Galaxy M04 by Friday at the latest.
