Samsung Galaxy F54 5G to launch in April

The Samsung Galaxy F54 5G is still appearing sporadically in the rumor mill. So far, the as yet unannounced Samsung phone with model number SM-M546B/DS, has been spotted in a certification and on official support sites in Bangladesh, India and the Middle East. A new leak from an insider source now points to a launch date in the last week of April.

The source also confirms some specifications of the Samsung Galaxy F54 5G. As expected, it is quite similar to the Galaxy M54. The weight of 199 grams and the thickness of 8.4 mm also speak for this. The battery has a capacity of 6,000 mAh and charges with 25 watts. There’s also a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Galaxy F54 5G is powered by Samsung’s new mid-range Exynos 1380 chipset along with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The leak does not reveal the capacities. But we guess 8 GB RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB memory with additional capacity via microSD. The chipset comes with support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. In the camera department, the F54 5G should offer a 108-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. There is also a 32 megapixel selfie camera.

In terms of design, the Galaxy F54 5G follows Samsung’s other recent launches – the Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy A54 and the Galaxy A34. No hints at prices yet, but they should be similar to the Galaxy M54.
