Last July, Samsung released the first version of its AI-based photo editing app Samsung Galaxy Enhance-X. At launch, the app was only available for the Galaxy S22 series, but was later released for various other Galaxy Note, Galaxy S, and Galaxy Z phones as well. Now Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Enhance-X app is now available for more smartphones. The Koreans are also working on bringing the app to Galaxy A phones, the M series and the Galaxy Tab tablets. However, it will only be compatible with devices running at least One UI 5.1 based on Android 13.


The Samsung Galaxy Enhance X app is currently available free of charge in the Galaxy Store for the following Samsung smartphones:

The new Samsung Galaxy Enhance-X app also fixes several beta bugs. You can also now optimize old low-resolution photos and apply lens distortion correction to wide close-up photos.
Samsung has also teased some upcoming features of the Galaxy Enhance X app. Accordingly, the Koreans are currently working on a function for scanning documents that makes the text clearer and therefore easier to read and removes unnecessary elements. In addition, the app will also be able to handle videos in the future, although Samsung has not yet gone into detail about this.
