Instead of launching the Galaxy Buds3 this year, Samsung will probably first launch a new fan edition of its existing TWS earbuds. Two new leaks now bring to light the first technical data and images. We also get the price of the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE. The Samsung headphones are expected to launch at the end of the year alongside the Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE.
According to the leaked images, the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE have a similar design to the original Galaxy Buds Pro and the Galaxy Buds Live with wingtips for a more secure fit in the ear. According to the leaked manual, Samsung will offer two wingtip sizes – S/M and M/L. The charging case, on the other hand, is the same as with the Galaxy Buds 2 and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. It has a square shape with rounded corners and a USB-C port for charging. Whether wireless charging will be available remains to be seen. Judging by the pictures, there are four microphones in total – two on each earbud.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds FE are also said to have 12 mm speakers tuned by AKG. This makes sense since Samsung acquired the audio specialists a few years ago. Graphite and white are available as color options, at least at the start.
We also have the first leak on the subject of prices. According to tipster Roland Quandt, the new Samsung headphones will have an RRP of $99.99 (94 euros).
