Samsung Galaxy Book3: pictures and first specs

Samsung is holding a big launch event on February 1st where we will see the debut of the Galaxy S23 series. Alongside the new Samsung smartphones, a brand new series of Galaxy Book notebooks will be on the scene. Now there are the first specifications, a leaked image and a sketch of the Samsung Galaxy Book3.

The Samsung Galaxy Book3 series will consist of a total of five models. In addition to the normal Galaxy Book3, Samsung is also planning a Book3 360, a Book3 Pro, a Book3 Pro 360 and the top model, the Galaxy Book3 Ultra. All new models should be live on stage on February 1st.

The Samsung Galaxy Book3 and Book3 360 will have 15-inch displays, while the Book3 Pro will launch with an additional 14-inch model. According to the leak, the top models Book3 Pro 360 and Book3 Ultra only come with 16-inch screens. The Samsung laptops are powered by Intel’s new 13th generation i5 and i7 processors. The Book3 Pro 360 has a Core i5-1340P or a Core i7-1360P chipset. There is also Intel Iris Xe graphics, 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD storage.

The Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 has a 16-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels. In addition, Samsung’s S-Pen is part of the package. However, the notebook does not have a stylus slot for safe storage, which was one of the few criticisms of the predecessor in our Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 review. The battery should have a capacity of 76 Wh and charges with the included 65 watt charger. The Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 is only 13mm thick and weighs 1.6kg (3,5 lbs).
