After many weeks of leaks, Samsung finally officially unveiled the Galaxy A34 and A54 on wednesday. As a new leak now shows, the next Samsung cell phone in the A series is already in the starting blocks – the Samsung Galaxy A24. As the name suggests, the new model will be even cheaper than the Galaxy A34. The leak confirms this with some technical data, and some promo pictures have also come to light.

The Samsung Galaxy A24 is said to come with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, as well as a reported maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. However, you can assume that this is the spot brightness and not the full screen. Still pretty impressive for a lower mid-range device.

The Galaxy A24 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset that can access 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. There is a triple camera system on the back. The main camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels and has OIS and an f/1.8 aperture. There is also a 5 megapixel ultra wide and a 2 megapixel macro camera. A 13-megapixel front camera snaps selfies.

The Samsung Galaxy A24 reportedly measures 162.1 x 77.6 x 8.3mm and weighs 195g. It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a fingerprint sensor built into the side. The 5,000 mAh battery charges with up to 25 watts. According to the rumors so far, it will be available in black, silver, mint green and burgundy red.
