Samsung Galaxy A24 in Vietnam unveiled

The Samsung Galaxy A24 has been haunting the rumor mill for months. Now, Samsung Vietnam has decided to make it official on its website with all the specs and pictures. The only open questions remain pricing and availability. However, we can assume that Samsung will submit the information shortly.

The Samsung Galaxy A24 sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch for its 13-megapixel front camera. There is no official confirmation of the refresh rate of the display yet. However, earlier rumors point to a 90 Hz panel.

The latest Samsung phone of the Galaxy A series is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset along with 6/8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. There is also a microSD card slot for storage expansion. On the back we get a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The software front appears to be managed by Android 13, presumably with Samsung’s OneUI 5.1 interface on top. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and charges with 25 watts. The Samsung Galaxy A24 will launch in black, burgundy, green and silver colors. The prices are not yet known. But according to the rumors so far, Europe gets a price tag of under €200 ($219).
