Samsung Galaxy A05: New images and leaks

The Samsung Galaxy A05 has been doing the rounds in the rumor mill for over a month now. It was first certified by the FCC this week. Two days later it showed up at Anatel, the national telecommunications agency in Brazil. As the icing on the cake, there is now an entry in the Google Play Console, which means that the launch is definitely imminent.

The best picture of the Samsung Galaxy A05 so far has also appeared in the Google Play Console along with additional technical data. Accordingly, the entry-level cell phone will have 4 GB of RAM, two main cameras on the back, a waterdrop notch, an HD+ display and a 5,000 mAh battery. The smartphone has a glossy panel with a stripe design in black. On the front, Samsung installs a selfie camera in an Infinity-U notch.

Android 13 runs as the operating system ex works. In addition, there is undoubtedly Samsung’s One UI interface in version 5 on board. But possibly in the light version One UI Core. It’s powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, which is limited to LTE connectivity.

The Samsung Galaxy A05 is the successor to the Galaxy A04, which launched in October last year after its August announcement with an unknown chipset. Like the A04, the A05 is also expected to be the most affordable model in the portfolio. The Samsung cell phone will probably not cost more than 130 euros / 150 us-dollars.
