Samsung actually wanted to roll all One UI 5 updates based on Android 13 by the end of 2022. The plan didn’t work out completely – today three more latecomers get the latest firmware versions – the Galaxy A03, Galaxy F12 and the Galaxy A32 5G with carrier-lock (model code SM-A326U) in the US. The end of the updates is clearly in sight. On the one hand, there are not many other current models. Second, Samsung is approaching the point where older phones are no longer eligible for new firmware versions.

The Samsung Galaxy A03 is currently receiving the Android 13 update in Serbia. The new firmware carries the version number A035FXXU2CVL4 and brings One UI Core 5 to the low-end smartphone. “Core” means that the entry-level model doesn’t get all the features of the high-end models in order not to overwhelm the hardware.

The Galaxy F12, on the other hand, has always been exclusive to India. And that’s exactly where the rollout of the new firmware version F127GXXU3CVL4 is taking place. The update comes with the November 2022 security patch, which fixes a whopping 46 security vulnerabilities. It’s worth the update for that alone, not to mention all the new features in One UI 5.

Last month, the international variant of the Galaxy A32 5G got Android 13 with One UI 5. Now it’s the turn of the model with carrier-lock (SM-A326U) in the US. The update comes with firmware version A326USQU8CVK5 and the usual One UI 5 features. However, only the November 2022 Android security patch is included instead of the December 2022 or even the January 2023 patch.

Anyone who owns one of these Samsung smartphones and has not yet received an update notification can also search for the new firmware manually at any time. To do this, simply start the manual search in the Settings menu under Software update.
