Xiaomi brand Redmi released the K50 Ultra in summer 2022. Months later, the K50 (Poco F4 internationally) and the K50 Pro were added. Now, new reports suggest that we could experience something similar with the Redmi K60 series as well. Since the Xiaomi smartphones will later become part of the extremely popular Poco F series as Poco F5 models, we are very excited to see whether we will also get a Poco F5 Ultra on the global markets for the first time.

The Redmi K60 Ultra is slated to launch in Q3 2023 with a Dimensity 9200 chipset and 100W fast charging. However, despite the very high level, both technical data are still below the specifications of the Redmi K60 Pro. The latter offers a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 120 watt fast charging. On the one hand, this raises questions about the credibility of the Ultra. On the other hand, there may be upgrades in the camera department, where Poco traditionally doesn’t necessarily shoot in the first league.
For comparison, the predecessor Redmi K50 Ultra has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and also charges with 120 watts. What the Redmi K60 Ultra is expected to bring is a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,712 x 1,220 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz.
However, there is still a long time before the start in the third quarter. Redmi also has other exciting products in the pipeline. One of them is the Redmi Note 12 Turbo with a 5,500 mAh battery with 67 watt charging and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chipset. Another is the Redmi Note 12 Discovery, which has just set a new charging record with 300 watts.
