Realme GT5: official images show design

The Realme GT5 will be released on August 28th and today the company revealed the design of the smartphone. It will have three cameras and an LED light on the back. This time, however, the module stretches from side to side, similar to the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 7. New teasers also confirm a 5,240 mAh battery that charges with an extreme 240 watts. So that nothing blows up, a SuperVOOC S power management chip takes care of the cell’s safety.

The design of the camera island is reminiscent of the Realme GT3 with the two round camera cutouts. However, the Chinese are now installing the LED rectangle in the Realme GT5 vertically and you can only read “Snapdragon 8 Gen 2”, “SuperVOOC” and “NFC”.

According to Realme CEO Wu Qi Chase, the new design is achieved through a “breakthrough glass technology in the mobile industry”. This should make the GT5 the best-looking smartphone in the history of the brand. The main color is called “Flowing Silver Mirror” (machine-translated). In addition, the Realme phone will get a curved display “for ultimate aesthetics”.

In addition, the Realme GT5 gets a separate display chip for higher graphics performance and a faster refresh rate. The largest expansion stage will have 24 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. Exactly the same configuration is also in the starting blocks for the group sisters in the form of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro and the Oppo Find N3. A Pro version with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset from Qualcomm is also expected later this year.
