The Realme GT5 Pro looks set to be a full-fledged flagship phone, but the GT series is set to expand beyond that, according to the latest leak. The Realme GT Neo6 is reportedly in the works. And the smartphone also gets some premium specs, including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and an aluminum frame.

So far, so gratifying. But now comes the real kicker: The Realme GT Neo6 is supposed to only cost 2,000 CNY – that would be 256 euros or 275 US dollars. Cell phones are generally cheaper in China than in the West, especially from a Chinese manufacturer because, among other things, import duties are eliminated. Nevertheless, this would be by far the cheapest option to get Qualcomm’s still second-fastest chipset.

According to a report from July, there are already two live images of the Realme GT Neo6, which you can see above. The design is very similar to the GT5, which also has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Interestingly, the cheaper variant of the GT5 with 150 watt fast charging started at 3,000 CNY (385 euros/410 US dollars). It will be exciting to see which components Realme will downgrade or cut to reduce the price even further.

Realme released the GT Neo5, which was launched on the global market as GT3, earlier this year. The predecessor GT Neo3, on the other hand, was presented in the first quarter of 2022. The company is taking its time introducing devices from the GT Neo series. Therefore, it wouldn’t be a big surprise if the GT Neo6 first hits the market next year. All eyes are currently on the GT5 Pro, which should be released soon.
