Realme is preparing to launch the GT Neo6 SE in April with the new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. New information about the device is now coming to light almost every day. This includes live photos, several promo images and various technical data, including a tip from the well-known Chinese industry insider Digital Chat Station.

The first two images come from the Chinese social network Weibo and reveal a display resolution of 2,780 x 1,264 pixels. Realme itself also shared two teasers for the GT Neo6 SE, which reveal a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO OLED display from BOE. The Chinese also advertise a resolution of 1.5K (i.e. between 1080p and 1440p) and an adaptive refresh rate of 0.5 to 120 Hz. There is also an extremely high peak brightness of 6,000 nits.

This value likely describes the local peak brightness for HDR content. The maximum overall brightness, on the other hand, is 1,600 nits in automatic and up to 1,000 nits in manual mode. The display also offers 2,160 Hz PWM dimming and a touch sampling rate of 2,500 Hz.

In addition, two promo images have appeared showing a large camera island with two sensors. The design is similar to last year’s GT Neo5 SE. The main camera will have a 50 megapixel sensor and OIS. In addition, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor is said to support some AI functions directly on the Realme phone, which the cameras could also benefit from.

The predecessor Realme GT Neo5 SE never left China. Unfortunately, we must also strongly assume that the successor will face the same fate.
