Realme will unveil the GT Neo5 SE at an event on April 3rd, as much was officially known as of last week. The Chinese company has now posted further teasers on the display, the battery and the charging speed. The display has a refresh rate of 144 Hz and supports high-frequency PWM dimming at 2160 Hz. Apart from DC dimming, this is the best solution for users who are sensitive to lower-frequency PWM.


The GT Neo5 SE’s display is flat and has a center punch hole for the selfie camera. According to prolific tipster Digital Chat Station, who posted the image below, the size will be 6.74 inches. There will be an embedded fingerprint sensor and peak brightness will be 1,400 nits. Realme itself speaks of a 1.5K resolution.

In addition, a second teaser for the Realme GT Neo5 SE revealed the battery size and charging speed. Accordingly, the Realme cell phone gets a 5,500 mAh battery that charges with a fast 100 watts. At least as far as normal cell phones are concerned, this is very fast. The regular GT Neo5, on the other hand, comes in two versions – a “slow” one with a 5,000mAh battery and 150W charging support, and a fast one with a 4,600mAh cell and 240W charging.
A Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, Qualcomm’s new star in the middle class, takes over the drive. Also, the Realme GT Neo5 SE will be 8.95mm thick, weigh 193.1g and should launch with variants up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. At launch, Android 13 will run besides Realme OS 4.0. There is also a 64-megapixel main camera and a 16-megapixel front camera. The smartphone is expected to be available in two colors: black and “Final Fantasy”.
