Realme GT Neo 5 with 16GB RAM on Geekbench

Realme’s upcoming flagship GT Neo 5 has been making headlines lately, before the Chinese could officially unveil it at next month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Realme has already officially confirmed that the smartphone will be the first with 240 watts of fast wired charging. According to various leaks, a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset sits at the helm. 91mobiles apparently discovered a Realme GT Neo 5 prototype in the Geekbench online database today. The test device achieved a very good single-core score of 1279 and an equally high multi-core value of 3902 points.

The prototype in question had a whopping 16GB of RAM on board and, unsurprisingly, was already running Android 13. The model number is RMX3708. The motherboard mentioned on Geekbench called “taro” has stood for the above-mentioned Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor several times in the past.

The new Realme smartphone is already at a point where the Chinese manufacturer is openly testing prototypes on Geekbench. The official start should therefore be close. The Realme GT Neo 5 should have a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,240 x 2,772 pixels. The main camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels and is accompanied by an 8 megapixel ultra wide. There is also a 2 megapixel sensor, which is responsible for either depth data or macro shots. The selfie camera on the front has a resolution of 16 megapixels. The 240 watt version charges a 4,600 mAh battery. But there should also be a version with a 5,000 mAh cell and “only” 150 watts of fast charging.
