The upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 is being awaited with some excitement in the smartphone world. According to rumours, it will break the current cable charging record with no less than 240 watts. As of today, it’s safe to say you probably won’t see it on the phone – the first two images have been leaked.

As you can see, you only see the back. However, it already knows a little something to tell. The camera module is inspired by vivo and Poco with its two-piece design. The top circle will presumably house the main camera, the bottom an ultra-wide and an auxiliary sensor. There’s also a quad-LED flash and the obligatory “MATRIX AI CAMERA” text.

The power button is on the right side, while the volume buttons are nowhere to be seen as they are on the other side, typical of Realme and Oppo. In addition to the white GT Neo 5, there should be other color variants. The predecessor Realme GT Neo 3 was available in black, blue and as a Naruto Edition special model.

The Realme GT Neo 5 is expected to be launched in two versions. The 240-watt charging model is said to be powered by an underclocked version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, while the other model charges at 150 watts and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset.

In terms of camera setup, rumor has it we’ll see a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and a 2-megapixel sensor for bad macros or needless depth data. A 16-megapixel front camera snaps selfies.
