Besides the Realme 11 models, the Chinese have also introduced the newest member of the Buds Air series – the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro. Realme’s new flagship wireless earbuds feature 11mm woofers and 6mm planar tweeters. You also get active noise cancellation (ANC) and support for the high bitrate LDAC codec.
The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro pair via Bluetooth 5.3 and are IPX5 splash-proof. Realme claims that its ANC system can cancel up to 50dB of loud noise thanks to the six microphones split between the two earbuds. The headphones have a battery life of up to 11 hours with the ANC switched off and a total of 40 hours with the charging case. The earbuds also support pairing with two devices.
The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro comes in Sunrise City and Starry Night Black colors for CNY 499 (€66/$72). Currently, however, the early bird offers are still running for 10 days, which push the price down to 399 CNY (53 €/57 $). Open sale in China begins May 31. Realme will announce international prices and availability later.
