The Realme 12X surfaced online last week as the fifth member of the 12 family, and now it’s official. Realme initially announced it only for the Chinese market, but this model will at least come to India in the future. The 12X is based on a 6.67-inch LCD display with a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 625 nits and a minimum brightness of 1 nit. A MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset sits at the helm paired with 12 GB of RAM (and up to 12 GB of virtual RAM). The storage options are 256GB or 512GB.

The camera module on the back of the Realme 12X houses a 50 megapixel main camera and an 8 megapixel selfie camera. The phone is IP54 certified and therefore dust and splash-proof, is a slim 7.89 mm thin and weighs 190 g. You also get a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 15 watt wired charging. The phone runs Android 14 and Realme’s UI 5.0 interface at launch.

The Realme 12X will be sold in China from April 7 via the Realme online store in Bluebird and Black Jade colors for CNY 1,399 (€178/$194) with 256GB of storage. The top 512GB model is priced at CNY 1,599 (€203/$222). However, these are just the introductory prices, which later rise to CNY 1,499 (€190/$208) and CNY 1,799 (€229/$249), respectively.
